The search is over!!
We are happy to welcome CHRISTIAN SVENNINGSEN to our family as our new
drummer!!
At the end we had several real high qualified drummers to choose from but
Christian came out on top.
Christian has done drum duties with several local punk rock bands and besides
that worked as a sound engineer and booker.

SRC decides to leave the band. No hard feelings, we are still friends. We take a
long holiday break and then start to search and audition for the right drummer.
FEBRUARY 2008:
U.K. TOUR:
We do 7 shows in 10 days in England and on a day off we even manages to record a
brand new track in the studio, with a guest appearance by FISH (THE SKEPTIX,
HEADCLINIC, SECTION 5, DISCHARGE).
The tour was a complete blast!! Thanks to everyone who showed up and a special
thanks to Fish for helping us out.
THE ZERO POINT OFFICIALLY BECOMES A MUSEUM ACT!!! :
The soon to open official Danish museum of rock´n´roll has added Steen / THE
ZERO POINTs very first guitar amp to their collection, and not only that but

We are really happy to announce that we have joint forces with PUKE MUSIC
BOOKING BERLIN who from now on will be managing our bookings in Germany!!
This will hopefully soon put us back on the road in
Germany........... We haven't been there since 1986!!!
Right now we are
finishing the last writing work on the songs for our new album. We will be
entering the studio in April to finish off the recording of the album (studio
time has been booked!! ;o).
Right after that, on April the 28. We will be going to Norway to play the
STAVANGER PUNK ROCK FESTIVAL together with bands like ROSE TATTOO, MAD SIN,
SECTION 5, THE SKEPTIX, HAGGIS a.m.o. This festival so to say: Kicks off OUR
2007 live shows!!........... after that: WE ARE OPEN FOR BOOKINGS!!

I guess that it is no longer a secret that Mr KID SNOTBEAM have joint us on
guitar and it works very well :o)
Right now we are working on new material that we hope to be recording late this
summer or early autumn for record release.
On the 8. Of June Steen are going to be hospitalized, to have done some surgery
in his shoulder. That will put the band out of business
for a couple of weeks or so..............BUT NO FUCKING LONGER THAN THAT !!!

hometown of Aarhus on the 12.th of May.
It will be the first Zero Point gig in Denmark since 1987 and we will be looking
very much forward to it.
We will be supporting D.R.I. (U.S.A.) and Danish Ska/punks Gob Squad will also
be featured on the bill that night.

A couple of weeks after the appearance at the
ANTIFEST Dennis & Anderz decided to quit the band. We are still great
friends, but Dennis simply was not that interested in music anymore and
especially not to be drummer in a punk rock band and Anderz simply haven’t got
the time. So after some searching and a
hell lot of “possible” drummers the new line up looks like this:

Søren
started out playing a bit of punk rock in his early youth, later on he have made
a couple of CD`s and T.V. appearances with some Danish rock acts and now he
decided it was time to play some punk rock again. When he turned up for the
first rehearsal, he cut play every riff for the entire set that we did at the
ANTIFEST!!!
S R C
is actually a “Metal” drummer but with a great passion for punk rock. He is
very skilled and he really gives the old stuff some sort of “up to date
finish”, without loosing any of the original punk feeling of the songs.
It
is a pleasure to be working with these two guys and they are very aware about
the fact that we are a punk rock band. So right now we stand stronger than we
ever have done after the reformation.

of Aarhus (the town where the band originally hails from) main newspaper "Aarhus

The Zero Point will do our first live gig since 1987 at this years ANTIFEST in
the Czech Republic.
The festival will take place on the 1stand 2nd of August. We

We have just been in the studio to record our
version of the old CLASH classic “English Civil War”. The song is our
contribution to the JOE STRUMMER/ THE CLASH tribute C.D. there are going to be
released later this year on MORTARHATE RECORDS. The recordings where done at
“DELTA LAB” studios in Copenhagen and went down real well. (Click

At
last a live date have been confirmed:
We will play THE ANTIFEST in the Czech Republic the first weekend of August.
Other bands to appear on the festival will among others be: THE EXPLOITED,

This years HOLIDAYS IN THE SUN`s official program featured a “The
definitive top 100 Punk bands of all time” list. ZERO POINT WAS No. 89!! Rated higher than bands like X-Ray Spex, Chelsea,
Undertones, Infa-Riot and Penetration. No need to say that we don’t deserve
that, but of course we are very glad and proud of it. The Top 100 was made out of votes

The worst kept secret in Danish punk are now official: THE ZERO POINT HAVE REFORMED And will perform the first live gigs in over 15 years!! to promote and
celebrate the release of their forthcoming CD on G.T.A. Records.
The line up are nearly the originally from the "The Murmur" E.P. Except
for Henrik, who have decided not to join. He simply have not got the time and
got other priorities in life (3 kids and another one on the way). He supports
the reformation 100% and are more than willing to give a helping hand.

Anderz have been a friend of the band since the very early stages.
So he is welcomed with very open arms and he should know what he is in for!
He also plays the bass in Copenhagen Punk-rock outfit : PRESIDENT
FETCH They have been going for 15 years and he have been there from the start,
so he should know he's way around a bass!
We only hope Anderz don't live up to his nickname: "Disaster Anderz" (he`s
first punk band was called "Disaster").

20/5-2002 THE ZERO POINT HAVE GOT A RECORD DEAL. California based record label GRAND THEFT AUDIOhave signed Zero Point for the release of a CD containing all the old studio
recordings and some rehearsal recordings. Some of the stuff have never been
released before. The CD are set to have a release date in November 2002 (or maybe
even sooner) and will contain more than 70 minutes of recordings. The CD will be distributed through "BOMP-RECORDS" and a series
of smaller distributions, and should that way around, be secured a nearly world
wide release (but ironic enough: NO distribution in Denmark!!).

CD`s, records and tapes. The truth is, that right now there is not much to buy.

got a record player !), the
"World class punk" C.D. (But we only got one track on that, and for
some reason the last part of the song is missing !!) and then you can download
the 3 tracks recorded at the "To trin ned" studio for free (but the
quality is pure !).
